Kill time setting up a killer home-auto system

Does the coronavirus shutdown have you stuck in the house 24 hours a day, seven days a week, perhaps all alone?

Then the time has come for you to get yourself a hobby, and what hobby could be better than setting up a home-automation system - a system which, by its very definition, doesn't do an awful lot but which will require constant attention and maintenance on your part. And isn't that they very definition of a good hobby?
