Laser was already one of the first companies in Australia to have its cables certified against stringent requirements, and these new cable lengths will make them even more useful for customers.
"We know that consumers and the industry alike have been waiting for the ability to deliver HDMI 2.1 Ultra Certified cables in longer lengths, given the sheer practicality of home installations and distance between technology such as their Television and Gaming console."

Why do I need Laser GTEK HDMI 2.1 Ultra High Speed cables?
HDMI standards are
- 1.4 for 1080p only – throw these away if you have 4K. The cost is a few dollars and are likely most of the HDMI cables you have lying around.
- ‘High Speed’ for 4K@30Hz – if you want to play Blu-Ray Dolby Atmos content, forget these. Cost $20-$50
- Premium High Speed’ for 4K@60Hz – supports Dolby Atmos and a good all-rounder
- ‘Ultra High Speed’ – 48Gbps, 4K@120Hz and mandatory for 8K. Best of all are backwards compatible.
Cables are backwards compatible. You can read more about HDMI cables and why they make so much of a difference. Laser GTEK is a trusted brand – so many of the cheap cables sold at online merchant site are poor quality.
