V-Fitness brings a $99 Smart Watch to the Aussie market

 By Phil Tran

If you use Google Fit or Apple Health and want a compatible smartwatch that doesn’t cost the earth then V-Fitness may have the answer. Their new smartwatch costs only $99 and does a lot of basic fitness tracking while also delivering notifications. For something so cheap you can be excused for thinking that it would be lacking features, but there’s plenty to keep an eye on:

  • 24/7 heart rate monitoring
  • 12 sports modes
  • A number of notification options
  • IP68 rated to last through use and abuse daily
  • Up to 2 weeks of battery life (dependent on activities)

For the daily grind, you’ve got access to weather and multiple bands for aesthetics. All of this is delivered by an Aussie owned company who is promising that there is more to come for users who are interested in health and wellbeing.

The MD of Laser Corp, Chris Lau commented:

With our growing V-Fitness brand, we recognise the need for good value fitness products in the market and are excited to bring affordability and functionality to our consumers. The refreshed V-Fitness range will be the beginning of a new journey for LASER and our commitment to providing Australian consumers with reliable and affordable everyday health and wellbeing solutions.

The V-Fitness Smart Fitness Watch is available from Big W or vfitness.com.au for AU$99.95. Great timing if you or someone you know have been thinking about jumping on the smart wearables train.
